Key Lime Pie Steel Cut Oats

Who loves key lime pie?

I DO. I FREAKING LOVE IT.

But I'm vegan now :/ So that makes things a little more difficult...

Luckily, I love to cook! I plan on trying to make my own vegan key lime pie soon...that will hopefully be sooner than later :D

But for now, I'll settle for some dessert for breakfast, oatmeal style!

Fruit Pizza Wrap

So as apart of @hellohealthy and @watch_me_shrink from Instagram's Make it Happen March post the other day which was to eat the rainbow (which all of you should be doing anyway!)

I decided to make a fruit pizza/wrap! And even use black and white colors :D



It was my first time making this and I kinda just winged it but the end result was super yummy!

Spinach Pancakes topped Almond Butter and Bananas

Yes you heard that correctly.

Spinach.
Peanut butter.
Bananas.
Pancakes.

All together joined in one happy family.


Yeah, yeah I had peanut butter and banana earlier today, so sue me.

Now I know you're thinking, why would you mix such lovely things and make something so vile...well you haven't tried yet have you? (for the clean eaters and fitgirls/guys you probably have)

Well let me take on a journey...

I wanted to put a super interesting post on here, but this is all I could come up with since I have a super busy day ahead of me....and heading back to work today :/

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Proats


Oh what's this you ask??? 

Only the greatest yummiest bowl of oats in the world! Okay maybe I'm exaggerating a little but oh my.

So I love oatmeal raisin cookies (another thing I almost named this blog after)

And I also love breakfast. So I thought...why not make oatmeal reason cookie proats?!

So I've seen different recipes but I was feeling good this morning and decided to go at these bad boys blind. And the end result:

This post is more so just to give you ideas on healthy cereal mixtures and toppings and what have you..some of my favorites being:

Bran flakes (make sure they are vegan)
Grapenuts (so much fiber!)
Barbara's Bakery Puffin Puffs Cocoa Crunch
Barbara's Bakery Puffins Peanut Butter
Barbara's Bakery Shredded Wheat

just to name a few...

And my favorite toppings to go with any of these fabulous choices are:

Strawberries
Blueberries
Bananas
Dried Cranberries
Cinnamon
Chia or Flax seeds
Sliced almonds, walnuts, pecans, or sunflower seeds
Unsweetned Shredded Coconut
Unsweetned Cocoa

There are so many healthy options people! Get going and eat your breakfast!
